Above is a typical Backpack and some of the equipment you would take with you. It won’t be long before you realise the importance of an organised backpack. Your backpack becomes your wardrobe, your bathroom cabinet, the coffee table, the side board and general storage space for all those ornaments and memorabilia you will collect. Imagine
24 hours on the road, you have changed buses 3 times, most of the way you
have sat on half a chair, the busses did not have air conditioning and the
last 8 hours of your journey were on dirt roads. By the time you
reach your destination all you want is a long shower, fresh undies and
your head down. The problem is, the day before you woke up late with a
hangover and didn’t get chance to organise your backpack. Hot, tired,
sweaty and dirty it takes forever to find your wash kit, fresh clothes and
your sleeping bag. Murphy’s law dictates that what ever you are looking
for will be at the bottom of your bag under all your dirty washing and the
rest of you clutter. So a little organisation and strategic placement of
your stuff will save you loads of hassle and make living out of a backpack
a tad more bearable. |
