Standing outside the twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a tourist sitting on his own admiring his surroundings was approached by a smartly dressed local man with good English. The local man appeared very interested in the tourist and pays him lots of compliments. The tourist warms to the local and is pleased that he has made a new friend. The two chat for well over an hour, getting to know each other and the differences in their cultures. The local man asks his new friend if he would like to accompany him to the local casino where he happens to be a member. Delighted in the offer of soaking up some local culture the tourist accepts the offer.
Once at the casino the tourist soon becomes aware that the odds are well stacked in the casinos favour. The tourist’s nice friend disappears and the tourist is left with no money and a bitter taste of being conned!!
