Standing at a cash point in South Africa a young traveller was struggling with the machine and it appeared not to work properly. She was approached by a well-dressed, friendly local and was asked if she needed a hand. The friendly local cheerfully said there was a special way the cards needed to be put in to the machine and took hold of the young travellers card. After a few moments of activity the local declared that the machine had swallowed the card and apologised to the traveller. The young traveller thanked the helpful man and made her way back to the hostel to sort out the problem. It turned out that the helpful man had been watching the young traveller for some time and had managed to see her put in her password. He had pocketed her card with some magicians disappearing tricks. Once the girl had walked away he made his way to the nearest cash point and helped himself to her travel funds!!!
